The DifferenceYou’ll MakeThe DifferenceYou’ll Make

Redefining what a successful start in English looks like.

Benova provides high-quality live online 1-to-4 English classes for Chinese children aged 6–7 who are at the very beginning of learning English.

We believe a successful start in English should not be defined only by:

how much content is taught;

how many words children repeat;

how lively the class looks.

We care more about what children can actually do.

A course should do more than deliver knowledge.

In every lesson, we want children to use the English they have to:

understand;

respond;

express themselves;

complete something meaningful.

English should not be memorized first and saved for some future day when it might finally be used.

From day one, English begins serving communication and connection.

Design each lesson as a complete 25-minute learning experience for the child.

You need to consider:

Is the child drawn in?

Do they understand what is happening?

Are they willing to engage?

Do they feel safe enough to try?

Can they feel that they are making progress?

Do they want to come back?

A good experience is not simply about making a class “fun.”

It is about:

Turning curiosity into engagement, and engagement into real learning and growth.

Turn small, clear steps of progress into motivation to keep learning.

For a child who is just beginning English, long-term motivation does not come from being told:

“You should learn English.”

It comes from repeatedly experiencing:

I can do this.

At first, I was afraid to try. Now I’m willing.

At first, I couldn’t do it. Now I can.

Through age-appropriate challenges and clear moments of success, we want children to see their own progress, build confidence, and want to keep moving forward.

Let real classrooms determine how the curriculum gets better.

A curriculum is not proven simply because it has been written.

We put the design into real teaching:

Design → Teach → Observe → Revise → Test with real children → Revise again

We value professional curriculum judgment, but we also expect that judgment to be tested against what actually happens in the classroom.

A design is not right simply because it sounds right in theory.

We Set High Standards—and We Pay forHigh QualityWe Set High Standards—and We Pay for High Quality

High standards deserve competitive pay.

We are building clear and transparent professional levels and growth standards.

Your starting compensation will not be determined only by:

your résumé;

years of experience;

company names;

job titles.

We care more about:

Your actual capability, quality of work, speed of growth, and the level of responsibility you can take on.

Stage 1|Prove the FitStage 1|Prove the Fit

Can you genuinely make the curriculum better?

Paid Trial Collaboration

PHP 700–900/hour

At 15 paid hours per week:

Approx. PHP 45,000–58,000/month equivalent

Paid weekly.

Availability

From the Paid Trial Collaboration stage, you need to have consistent availability for the project:

15+ hours of availability/week

And:

3+ weekdays available

2 fixed collaboration windows/week

Your remaining available time can be arranged flexibly.

Weekend-only availability is not suitable.

We need to be able to continue curriculum development, testing, feedback, and revision throughout the workweek rather than concentrating all collaboration on weekends.

What You’ll Do at This Stage

Review existing curriculum;

Identify the most important problems;

Propose specific improvements;

Participate in developing new lessons;

Bring real young learner classroom experience into the curriculum;

Participate in trial teaching, classroom observation, or necessary course delivery;

Continuously revise the curriculum based on Mock sessions and feedback from real children.

We want you to be able to:

Identify the problem, explain why it matters, and help us test a better version.

The priority at this stage is not to build an entire curriculum system.

It is first to prove:

Can you genuinely make part of the curriculum better?

Stage 2|Own the WorkStage 2|Own the Work

Move from contributing ideas to taking real ownership of part of the curriculum.

Stable Part-time

PHP 60,000–90,000/month

Working Capacity

20–25 hours/week

The fixed monthly compensation covers the agreed weekly working capacity.

Any additional work above 25 hours/week will be paid separately based on your professional level and established hourly rate.

Paid twice monthly.

What You’ll Do at This Stage

Take independent responsibility for developing selected lessons, course testing, real-classroom analysis, and continuous revision.

As we develop a deeper understanding of the curriculum, our ways of working, and each other’s capabilities, you will gradually move from:

Contributing to curriculum improvement

to:

Taking real responsibility for the results of part of the curriculum.

Specific responsibilities may continue to evolve as Benova’s curriculum and team enter the next stage of development.

Stage 3|Build the SystemStage 3|Build the System

Move from creating great curriculum to helping high quality happen consistently.

Future Full-time / Lead

PHP 100,000–130,000/month

Working Time

40 hours/week

Paid twice monthly.

What You’ll Do at This Stage

As your capability and responsibility grow, you may become increasingly involved in:

Curriculum standards;

Teacher Guides;

High-quality classroom Demos;

Teacher Training;

QA;

Curriculum development methods;

Helping other teachers and curriculum team members consistently do high-quality work.

At this stage, the goal is no longer only to:

Do great curriculum work yourself.

It is to:

Turn proven methods into a system that other people can understand, learn, and execute consistently.

Must-haveMust-have

Young Learner Teaching

2+ years teaching young English learners

Real experience with ages 4–8

Real experience with complete / early-stage beginners

Real online ESL teaching experience

These are core requirements for this role.

We are not looking for someone who only understands young learner education in theory.

We need you to genuinely understand:

How young beginner English learners understand, hesitate, engage, lose focus, succeed, and struggle in real classrooms.

Curriculum Experience

1+ year in lesson design, curriculum development, teaching materials, or course improvement

What Matters Most

You have changed your curriculum design based on what you observed in real classrooms with real children.

We want you to be able to explain specifically:

why a child may not understand a certain step;

why an activity may look lively but fail to move learning forward;

which step is too difficult;

which step is repetitive or unnecessary;

how you would improve it;

how you would know whether the change actually made it better.

Your Job Title Does Not Have to Be “Curriculum Developer”

If you are or have been a:

Senior Teacher · Head Teacher · Trainer · QA · Academic · Materials Developer

but have genuinely participated in curriculum design, teaching materials, curriculum improvement, or classroom quality improvement, we also welcome your application.

We look at real capability, not just job titles.
